Be A Fervent Christian

Be a fervent Christian,

Be hot in your prayer watches;

Altars of prayer are crumbling;

The strength of burden bearers shall He renew.

Be a fervent Christian,​

Be diligent in rightly dividing the word of truth; 

Winds of strange doctrines are blowing;

Contend earnestly for the faith of our fathers.

Be a fervent Christian,

Be enthusiastic in winning souls;

The night is fast approaching;

When no man can work again.

Be a fervent Christian,

Be up and doing at all times;

Perilous times are here for all;

Only the faithful shall endure to the end.

5.

Be a fervent Christian,

Be fiery in your love for others;

Look up steadfastly to heaven;

Your redemption is nearer than ever.

6.

Be a fervent Christian,

Be swift in your service to God;

Time is winding up so speedily;

Eternity will soon appear.

7.

Be a fervent Christian,

Be pure in heart to see God;

The Bridegroom is on His way;

To harvest the nations of the earth.
