WHY THE NAME HOUSE 517?

The name is drawn from two Bible verses that are paramount and fundamental to this ministry, which are John 5:17 KJV, “But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work” and Hebrews 3:5 KJV, “And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after.”

House 517, therefore, means a God’s house (or a ministerial assignment) modeled on the template as set forth by the Lord Jesus in John 5:17, working as seeing the Father work. Meaning, as a ministry we are focused and preoccupied with whatever we see the father doing per time, always going in the direction that we see the father going at any time. As the Lord puts it best in John 5:19 NIV, “.. very Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise..”

OUR VISION AND OUR MANDATE

House 517 International Ministries (HIM) is privileged by grace to be one of God’s outposts for the end time revival. A multifaceted ministry going ahead in the power and the spirit of another fundamental scripture to this ministry; Colossians 1:18 KJV, “and he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence”, this verse encapsulates the vision of the ministry. Consequently, our mandate is also found in the same verse, which is, “as enriched and enabled by God in our scope of assignment we do our utmost to make Christ preeminent in all things, until that day that every knee bows and every tongue confesses that Jesus is Lord”.
To the unsaved, we pray, plead and persuade that they accept God’s free gift of salvation in coming under the Lordship of Jesus. To the saved, we urge and admonish a continuous and lifelong dedication to consecration, sanctification, and holiness in being a disciple and a bond servant of Christ. To the sick, we present Jesus the healer. To those affected or afflicted to any degree by the works of the enemy, the same applies, we present Jesus the deliverer, who was manifested for the express purpose of destroying the works of the devil (1 John 3:8).
Thus, at all times and in all situations, we work to please Jesus as Jesus would work to please the father, giving expression to 2 Corinthians 3:9b ESV ” … we make it our aim to please him“, doing our best as God enables us to make Jesus preeminent at all times.
