Focus Scripture: “And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” Genesis 1:31 KJV
In Genesis 1 during creation, God intermittently gave himself progress reports on creation with the phrase “and God saw that it was good.”
However in Genesis 1:31 the last verse of chapter 1, as he rounded up, this phrase was nuanced, and it was “and God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good…”
