‘She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had SPENT ALL SHE HAD, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. ‘ Mark 5:26 NIV
The bible said she spent all she had. Yes, that meant money. In the culture of her days, she must have spent more than that. She would have been deemed unclean and permanently so. So, her dignity, social status and many more essences of her being must have been spent and expended too.
However, when Jesus addressed her after her healing, he said, “your faith has healed you”. Her faith! In all her spending there was something she never spent out, her faith! No matter what life takes from you, don’t let it take your faith! Someday, Jesus will be in the neighbourhood as he is now, and you will need your faith.
‘But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. …” ‘ Luke 22:32. Lord, please pray same for us.
