Read Time: 1 Minute
My most favourite scripture was recently the verse of the day on the YouVersion Bible app. It sure made my heart glow with joy and excitement! I imagined an opportunity to share it with others. Then, it was time for me to move on to the next task, as usual. This time, however, the Holy Spirit stopped me in my tracks that I needed to take a pause:
“And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.” Exodus 3:3-4 KJV
Moses did not stop at amazement, he wanted to know and understand why. He turned aside, he took a further step and he encountered God. Next time a scripture is burning in your heart don’t just be excited about it and hurry on. Pray on it, meditate on it, memorize it, give it time to grow. Ask God to open your eyes to receive the revelation behind it, let it transform you.

”Moses did not stop at amazement”, may we have the sensitivity to know when to put everything else on hold and follow through till we hear God call our names.
This is it! I love this! God bless you. We must pause on stumbling on some scriptural passages. Thank you for the message.
